| Caixa Mágica是一份葡萄牙人的Linux发行。 The first release candidate of Linux Caixa Mágica 12, a Portuguese Linux distribution, is now available for download and testing. The most interesting change is the fact that this release is no longer based on openSUSE, as was the case with the project's all previous releases, but on Mandriva Linux 2008. Also, the RPM packages are now managed with APT and Synaptic, while Mandriva Control Centre is used for general system configuration. This version includes the proprietary ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers and supports popular media codecs. Please read the release announcement (in Portuguese) for further information and known issues.
