apt-get的力量，通过Internet来完成。Skolelinux的核心目标是本地化，以及系统管理的易用性。 Daniel Hess has announced the fourth release candidate of Skolelinux 3.0, a distribution also known as Debian-Edu Etch: "This is the fourth release candidate of Debian-Edu Etch. Even though it was planned to release the final version after rc3, it was decided to release (at least) one more release candidate. The reason for this is that some critical bugs have been fixed and some new features and changes have been implemented. Highlights: fixed administration user access to LDAP; keep the /etc directory under version control; fixed students' KDE start menu and put some more icons on the desktop; changed the site summary client code to make it less likely that all clients connect to the server at the same time, to spread the load on the server...."
