Phil Miller has announced the availability of the second beta release of Chakra GNU/Linux 0.4, an Arch-based distribution featuring the KDE 4.6.0 desktop: "The
Chakra development team is proud to announce the second beta release of
Chakra GNU/Linux 0.4, code-named 'Cyrus'. We are happy with our current
repositories. Due the latest move of KDE SC there was a demand for new
install media. Use only 0.3.70 or higher for now to install Chakra
GNU/Linux. All the other images out there don't work properly. I fixed
some big bugs in tribe and tested those images more than one day. Still
to fit 700 MB Kaffeine and Qmmp had to been dropped in our x86_64 image.
Seems we have to use DVDs if we don't want to have minimalist CDs any
