This release ships with kernel 2.6.21.1, including the Con Kolivas patch set and SD scheduler, X.Org 7.2, KDE 3.5.7, KOffice 1.6.3, Firefox 2.0.0.4 and a vast range of other cutting-edge desktop packages. This release will be followed by a bug-fix release in about 4 weeks time. It will only contain simple application updates and bug fixes."
