New features since beta 2 include: a mechanism for providing different package versions and switching easily between them; ability to choose from a list of conflicting packages in case they cannot be installed simultaneously; ability to choose alternative packages during system installation; addition of Memtest86+ to the DVD boot menu; package updates - GCC 4.4.3, Linux kernel 2.6.32.6 (two variants - one general kernel, the other patched with BFS and BFQ); new installation classes with Fluxbox, Openbox or a minimal system. Major components include glibc 2.11.1, Qt 4.6.1, GTK+ 2.18.5, Mozilla Firefox 3.6, X.Org Server 1.7.4. Please read the release announcement (in Russian) for further information.
