This is the latest stable ISO image release for installing Source Mage GNU/Linux. A short list of the major improvements: updated kernel (2.6.27.10), better support for newer hardware; use of udev during boot enables automatic hardware probing and detection; new text-only installer interface; LVM and RAID support; documentation for all ISO packages available during the install; fast installation. Also in the works is an x86_64 edition which will hopefully keep in parallel with the x86 one." See the release announcement and release notes for more details.
