João Batista Esteves has announced the first release candidate of Dreamlinux 2.2 Multimedia GL edition: "We'd like to announce the availability of another Dreamlinux Multimedia GL edition development release, now in its RC1. The changelog of this new release includes: total upgrade from Debian 'testing' repositories; multimedia plugins and codecs upgrade; Beryl 0.2 final upgrade; Nvidia-Install and Ati-Fglrx scripts update; new Ruby-Gtk2 scripts replacing old Xdialog ones; Easy-Install 1.8; ACPI daemon and Xfce battery plugin to notebooks; new Xnetcardconf utility for network cards configuration; Checkgmail; general updates concerning icons, boot splash and splash screen; several refinements and improvements."
