Today, I just finished attending both the CommunityOne and JavaOne from this Monday to Friday. I saw a lot of new technologies, learn a lot and had a lot of fun.
On the first day of JavaOne, it was sad to hear the last sentence from Scott McNealy at the end of Keynote. "Once again, thank you all developers for your support!" After that, a lot of audiences including me stood up and clapped our hands very loud for a long long time. This is our way to say good bye to Sun and thanks Sun for its contributions to the software industry and provided Java to us.
That kind of sadness kept within me throughout the conference, until now, and maybe for next couple weeks or years. I believe many developer feel the same way I feel. However, I think the future of Java is still bright. The future of Java: Java + JavaFX.
