I post here afte i look in that html.And i found that kernel-ntfs-2.4.18-3.i686.rpm id for NTFS Kernel Module for RedHat 8.0 and mine is RH7.3,So i post here for aid.I also try the kernel-ntfs-2.4.18-3.i686.html ,but it is "Not Found"
BTW:this post is written on linux,i didn't found where is chinese input,so...

现在合适的版本也装不上去了.

我也遇到这个问题...
用rpm -q kernel.*rpm 说没有装上去,可是用rpm -ivh kern.*rpm
却说已经装上去了!

我安装了REDHAT9, 但还是说内核不支持ntfs
# uname -a
Linux hydrogen.lan 2.4.20-8bigmem #1 SMP Thu Mar 13 17:32:29 EST 2003 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
所以下了
kernel-ntfs-2.4.20-8.athlon.rpm
但
# mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/win2k
mount: fs type ntfs not supported by kernel
哪儿错了呢?

我在RH9下试了，用这个RPM包安装后还是无法挂上NTFS文件。必须要编译内核，在RH9带的内核里已经支持NTFS了，只要重新编译内核，把NTFS READ打开就可以了。我在RH9中已测试通过。

i have solved this problem. My kernel is 2.4.20-18.9 and my chip is althon.
So i download the rpm of kernel-ntfs-2.4.20-18.9.althon.rpm(which you can find in sourseforge). But it is not all.(I got a erro message seem as: ntfs is unknown.)
I have dowmlaod a model: kernel-ntfs-2.4.20-18.9.o and after install this model i can read my ntfs disk.
I hope my explerence is useful for others.

据我老师说在7.3上编译内核后可以挂接NTFS分区
在9.0用2.4.20-8的内核编译就不行
找了个RPM包装了还是不行
然后重装了系统,用最小化安装.再装RPM包,OK
胆识主机上没有NTFS分区,无法确认 :em02:

读写会出问题的。有些软件读不出来NTFS的文件。问什么一定要看到NTFS呢？不用它不行？
